Erosion Control from Hilltop Service
Bare soil washes away with the first hard rain, into the street, the storm drain and the neighbor's yard. On a construction site that means mud, cleanup and trouble.
We put the controls in before the rain comes and get the ground covered as fast as possible, so the soil stays where it belongs.

What's included
Filter socks
Mesh tubes filled with mulch or compost, laid along the low side of the work. Water passes through, and the soil it was carrying stays behind.
Silt fence
Fabric fence trenched in along the edge of disturbed ground, so sediment stays on the site instead of washing into the road or a stream. It's often required on construction sites.
Hydroseeding
Bare soil seeded and mulched fast. It's the best long-term erosion control there is: once the grass roots in, the ground holds itself.
Slope stabilization
Erosion control matting laid over seeded banks and grades holds soil and seed in place through heavy rain while the grass takes hold.
Construction sites
Controls put in for builders and site contractors to keep mud off the road and out of storm drains. Call and we'll talk through your site.
Questions
Do you work with builders on new construction?
Yes. Call 610-562-3124 to set up erosion controls for your site.
Can you seed after the controls go in?
Yes. We do the hydroseeding too, so one company handles both.
